La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international gastronomic society, originally founded in Paris in 1248.
Today’s Chaîne, re-established in 1950, is based on time honoured traditions and practices of the old French royal guild of goose roasters, whose authority and prestige extended to the roasting of all poultry, meat and game at Royal Palaces and Grand Houses. It is dedicated to promoting fine cuisine and developing gastronomic values and widening the focus of table art.
Chaîne Bali members and their guests celebrate excellent food and wine in the company of like-minded individuals, bonded by a commitment and dedication to raising and sharing standards of culinary art and hospitality.
